Venue
Border Events Centre, (Formerly Border Union Showground) Kelso, TD5 8LS.
The centenary celebrations will be held at the Springwood Park and Hall, Border Events Centre, Kelso.
Set in 40 acres of parkland, the venue will provide the ideal infrastructure to stage our momentous event.
• Kelso is within a 90 minute car journey from Carlisle, Newcastle and Edinburgh
• Ideal base to explore “Border Country”
• Caravan/Camping facilities
• Good accommodation facilities in the town and surrounding area
Caravans & Camping
Kelso is an ideal location to explore the Border country and a large number of visitors are expected to make use of the temporary site which will be available from Thursday 28th April to Tuesday 3rd May.
A set fee, regardless of length of stay, of £50 for caravans/motor homes and £20 for tents.
A small limited number of electric hookups points are available for an additional fee £10 and can be pre-booked when ordering
Caravans will only be allowed on site from 12 noon on Thursday 29th April.
It should be noted that this is only a temporary site best suited to self-contained caravans/motor homes and there are no hard-standing pitches. There are toilets and shower facilities.
The caravan steward will allocate the pitch and all equipment, including awning, windbreaks, vehicles etc., must be contained within this space.
All caravans must be fitted with a FIRE EXTINGUISHER
Caravan reservations will be available to book with the event tickets.

By Road
Within 90 minutes drive of Carlisle, Newcastle and Edinburgh
By Rail
Stations nearest to Kelso are:
Berwick-upon-Tweed which is on the East Coast main line service London to Aberdeen.
Tweedbank which is on the newly re-opened Waverley route from Edinburgh
By Air
Both Edinburgh and Newcastle International Airports are within a 90 minutes drive.
